Steps

  1. 1

    Open Log Register

Tap Log Register in the sidebar. The Register History page opens, described as "View and reprint register session records".

  2. 2

    Find the shift you want

Use Search for a staff name, register, order number or customer name. Narrow it with Start Date, End Date and Status: Open, Closed, Reconciled or Cancelled.

  3. 3

    Read the columns

A row shows Opening Cash, Closing Cash, Difference, Total Revenue and Status. Difference is green when the drawer was over and red when it was short.

  4. 4

    Reprint the recap

Tap Reprint on that row. EnakPOS prints that shift’s register recap again and confirms with "Register recap printed successfully!".

  5. 5

Cancel a session opened by mistake

For a session still marked open, tap the cross on its row. Fill in Reason for Cancellation (required), then tap Yes, Cancel Register. That session cannot be reopened.

Want the orders inside one shift? Tap the register name in the Register column and the Orders in Register page opens.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

What the four statuses mean

Open means the shift is still running. Closed means it was closed and the drawer counted. Reconciled means it was checked off after closing. Cancelled means the session was voided, and the reason shows under the status badge.

Cancelling is not closing

Cancel Register is for a session that should never have existed, such as a register opened twice. A cancelled session cannot be reopened. For a shift that really traded, use Close Register so the money is still counted.

The active orders warning

If the session you are cancelling still has live orders, EnakPOS shows an Active Orders Warning before you go on. Finish or move those orders first so no bill is left hanging.

Reprint rebuilds the recap, it does not copy an old slip

Reprint reloads that session’s summary and prints it again, so it reflects the session as it stands now. For a session still open, what prints is the recap of the shift in progress.
