Steps

  1. 1

    Open the order

Open Cashier, select the guest’s order and find the item row you need to change.

  2. 2

    Tap Actions

On the item row, tap Actions ⌄, then choose Reject / Cancel to remove it, or Compliment to give it for free.

  3. 3

    Choose what happens to stock

Pick Cancel all (Return stock) when the item can still be sold, or Reject all (as waste, no return to stock) when it has been thrown away.

  4. 4

    Enter a PIN if asked

If your venue uses the PIN lock, enter the Cashier PIN. EnakPOS confirms, for example "Item cancelled. Stock returned."

Picked the wrong one? Use Restore item, or change a cancel into a reject or compliment. A paid item cannot be voided at the counter — refunds are done in EnakVP.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

Cancel, reject or compliment?

Cancel all (Return stock) puts the item back into stock because it can still be sold. Reject all records it as waste, so stock does not come back. Compliment means the item is still made but given to the guest for free.

Where the numbers land

Cancelled items and waste appear separately in the EnakVP Sales Report, on the Voided (returned to stock) and Waste cards. That is why the right choice matters: the waste figure is used to measure kitchen loss.

Items that are already paid

An item on a paid order cannot be voided at the till. EnakPOS refuses and points you to a refund instead, which a Supervisor, Manager or Owner does in EnakVP.
