Steps

  1. 1

    Open Tables

Tap Tables in the sidebar. The All Tables tab is view-only, and the screen says so: the layout is edited from inside a floor area.

  2. 2

    Open one floor area

Tap the floor area tab you want to change, such as Garden. The Edit Layout button only appears once you leave All Tables.

  3. 3

Tap Edit Layout and enter a PIN

Tap Edit Layout. EnakPOS asks for a Supervisor PIN, prompting "Enter a Supervisor/Owner PIN to edit the table layout".

  4. 4

    Add or move tables

Tap + Add Table, then fill in Table number / name, Capacity (pax) and Shape: Round or Rectangle. Chairs are drawn from the capacity. Existing tables are dragged into place on the plan.

  5. 5

Add a floor plan image if you want one

Tap Upload Background to use a photo or plan of the room (JPEG, PNG or WebP). Set how it sits with Cover, Contain or Fill.

  6. 6

    Save, then leave edit mode

Tap Save Layout, then Done Editing. If you leave without saving, EnakPOS asks "Discard unsaved layout changes?".

Occupied is never set by hand: EnakPOS works it out from live orders. Other states such as Reserved and Closed can be set while you edit a single table.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

Why All Tables is view-only

The All Tables tab gathers every floor area into one view, so the positions there are not the real ones. The layout can only be changed inside a single floor area, and the screen says as much.

A Supervisor PIN, not a cashier PIN

Editing the layout needs a Supervisor or Owner PIN, not an ordinary staff one. The reason: table names and numbers travel onto kitchen tickets, the queue board and your sales reports. Renumbering mid-service confuses all three.

Capacity draws the chairs

Capacity (pax) is not just a number: the chairs on the plan are drawn from it. Put the real number of seats in, so staff recognise a table from its shape alone.

Save before you leave

Save Layout only becomes tappable once something has changed. If you tap Done Editing with unsaved changes, EnakPOS asks "Discard unsaved layout changes?" first.
