Steps

  1. 1

    Open Stock Management

In EnakVP, go to Your Menu > Stock Management. Each row here is one dish you count. Anything not listed here is treated as always available.

  2. 2

    Add a count

Tap New Menu Item Stock, choose the Menu Item, and enter the Initial Quantity the kitchen prepped today. Tap Create. Every order brings Current Quantity down on its own.

  3. 3

Adjust it when the number changes

Tap Edit on the row and open the Stock Adjustment section. Put a negative number in Adjustment Quantity to take stock away, or a positive one to add it, then write an Adjustment Reason such as "Damaged items". Save, and EnakVP confirms with "Stock adjusted successfully!"

  4. 4

    Check what is running low

Use the Low stock filter to see what is nearly gone, and Out of Stock for what has already hit zero. Both are the quickest pre-service check you can do.

  5. 5

    Rows linked to inventory

When a dish is tied to an inventory product, Connected to inventory reads Yes and the row cannot be hand-edited. Change the quantity in Inventory instead, then tap Sync on the edit page to pull it through.

A sold-out dish is not removed from the menu. Staff and guests still see it, but EnakPay refuses to add it to an order. To hide a dish outright, switch Available off on the item in Menu Management.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

Initial Quantity locks once stock is used

As soon as an order takes stock, Current Quantity no longer matches Initial Quantity and EnakVP locks the field with "Cannot edit: Current quantity differs from initial quantity. Stock has been consumed." Use Stock Adjustment instead of editing the opening figure.

Why the reason matters

The Adjustment Reason is the only record of why a number moved. At month end it is what separates breakage from a miscount from stock walking out of the door. Write something specific, such as "2 pcs dropped", rather than just "correction".

Inventory-linked items have one source of truth

When a dish is tied to an inventory product, the count lives in one place only: Inventory. EnakVP hides Edit on that row so there are never two books for one fridge. Sync simply pulls the warehouse figure through again; it does not change it.
