Steps

  1. 1

    Open Staff Management

In EnakVP, go to Staff Management > Staff. Only a Manager or Owner can open this page. A Supervisor cannot, even though they can authorise a refund at the till.

  2. 2

    Give someone kiosk access only

Tap Edit on the person. Under Access Permissions, in System Access, tick Kiosk System only and leave Point of Sale unticked. They then cannot sign in to the till at all: EnakPay refuses with "You do not have permission to access the Point of Sale for this venue."

  3. 3

    Hand out their till PIN

In the table, the POS PIN column reads Copy PIN once a PIN is set. One tap copies it and EnakVP confirms with "POS PIN copied".

  4. 4

Change a PIN that got out

There is no reset-PIN button in EnakVP. To change one, tap Edit and type a new number into the POS PIN field. Clear the field instead if you want to switch PIN login off for that person.

  5. 5

Cut off someone who has left

Tap Revoke on their row, or Revoke Access on the edit page, then Yes, Revoke Access. That removes every system access, staff role level and PIN they hold at your venue. Their account and all of their sales history stay exactly as they were.

You can only give someone a role below your own, and you cannot revoke your own access. The Owner level, access to the EnakVP portal itself, and deleting an account are all set by the EnakPay team.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

System Access and Staff Role Level are different things

System Access picks which apps someone can open: Point of Sale, Kiosk System, or both. Staff Role Level picks their authority: Owner, Manager, Supervisor or Staff. A chef can be a Supervisor and still be unable to reach the till if only Kiosk System is ticked.

Revoke Access deletes no history

Revoke Access removes only their access at your venue: system access, staff role level and PIN. The account is not deleted, their access at other venues stays, and no order, payment or shift record is touched. Every past sale still shows who rang it up.

The role limits exist for a reason

You can only hand out a role below your own. An Owner can appoint up to Manager, a Manager up to Supervisor. Nobody can appoint an Owner from inside the venue, and you cannot revoke your own access, so an Owner can never lock themselves out.

If every PIN has to change at once

There is no bulk reset. Changing Staff PIN Length in General Settings does clear PINs with a different digit count, but do not use it as a reset tool: EnakVP will name everyone affected, and they cannot use the till until you give them a new PIN.
