Sell through GrabFood or GoFood at their own prices without touching your in-house ones. Each channel gets its own tab in EnakPOS.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open Sales Channels

In EnakVP, go to Settings > Venue Settings > Sales Channels. The Regular channel is always there and cannot be deactivated or deleted. Only a Manager or Owner can open this page.

  2. 2

    Create a channel

Tap the create button at the top right. Put the name guests and staff see in Channel Name, which is what shows on POS tabs, receipts and dockets, such as GrabFood. Put a short lowercase slug with no spaces in Code, such as grabfood. Badge Color takes a hex code such as #F36600.

  3. 3

Set how tax works on it

Switch on Prices Include Tax & Service if prices on that channel are all-inclusive, as they are on GrabFood and GoFood. This becomes the default for every new item price row on that channel.

  4. 4

Order it and switch it on

Sort Order decides the tab order in EnakPOS: a lower number shows first. Make sure Active is on, then save. After that, add the per-channel prices on your dishes in Menu Management.

Switching Active off only hides that channel tab in EnakPOS. No per-item price, promotion or past order is deleted, so switching it back on restores everything exactly as it was.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

Regular is special, but not entirely

Regular cannot be deactivated or deleted, and its Code is locked. Its Channel Name is still yours to change, though, if you would rather call it something like Dine In. That name is what shows on POS tabs, receipts and dockets.

A channel with no prices sells nothing

Creating a channel does not put anything on sale there. Every dish needs a price row for that channel in Menu Management, and so does every modifier option. This is the most common reason a channel comes up empty.

Deactivating is not deleting

Switching Active off only hides the channel tab in EnakPOS. Every price, promotion and past order stays. Use it for a partnership on pause, rather than Delete, so your old reports stay whole.

Prices Include Tax & Service follows the partner

Delivery-app channels such as GrabFood and GoFood normally work on all-inclusive prices, so switch this on for them and let your in-house prices follow your own rule.
