Steps

  1. 1

    Open Item Summary

In EnakVP, go to Report & Payouts > Item Summary. The three cards at the top show Total Items, Total Quantity and Total Net Sales for the period you pick.

  2. 2

Set the period and the filters

Fill in Select Date Range with Time (today by default). Use Filter by Type to choose All, Menu Item or Modifier, and Group By to read the result per Menu Item / Modifier, per Order, or per Batch.

  3. 3

    Export the figures

Tap Export data as CSV to save the table. The file carries Item Name / Modifier Name, Menu, Category, Type, Price, Quantity, Net Sales and Order Date.

  4. 4

    Open Deep Analysis

Go to Report & Payouts > Deep Analysis. It opens on this month so far. The tabs are Overview, Timing Patterns, Menu Analysis, Spending Behavior, Categories and Promotions.

  5. 5

Export it, and try the AI insight

Tap Export Top Selling (Excel) to save your best sellers. If your venue has AI Insight on Deep Analysis switched on, an AI Insight tab and a Generate AI insight button appear too, and write you a summary of that period.

Generate AI insight only appears when the AI Insight on Deep Analysis setting is on under Settings > Venue Settings > General Settings, and EnakPay has set up the AI provider. If either is missing, the tab and the button are simply not shown, with no message to explain why.

Good to know

A little more depth, so your team understands why, not just which button.

Item Summary and Sales Report answer different questions

Sales Report answers how much money came in and when. Item Summary answers what sold. For menu decisions, such as dropping a dish or raising a price, Item Summary is the one you want.

Group By changes what the table means

Menu Item / Modifier totals the whole period per dish, which is what you want for best sellers. Order splits it per bill, which helps when tracing one order. Batch groups it by each send to the kitchen. Note the CSV does not carry the Order Number or Batch column.

The AI insight is stored

Generate AI insight saves its answer. Running it again on unchanged figures reuses the stored one and costs nothing. The Regenerate button forces a second reading and is charged, even though the figures have not moved.

Only totals leave the system

EnakVP says so before it runs: only the totals for that period are sent, with no customer names and no individual orders.
