1.4.1.2 How to adjust menu item stock

To edit menu item stock, do the following:

  1. Click Your Menu > Stock Management.

  2. Find the Menu Item you would like to edit the stock of, to the right (You might have to scroll right) click Edit button.

    1. Menu Item: This is the Name of the Menu Item. This cannot be changed here.

    2. Initial Quantity: This is how much stock you had when you first entered the Stock. You can adjust this if it was entered incorrectly.

    3. Current Quantity: This shows how much is left according to how many orders for this Menu Item was placed since you created this Menu Item Stock. This cannot be edited in this field. You can however, adjust the quantity with “Adjustment Quantity”.

    4. Force Direct Update: Do not use this feature as it is still under development.

    5. Stock Adjustment

      1. Adjustment Quantity: You are able to adjust “Current Quantity”  by either entering a negative or positive number. For example, if you need to adjust a stock item that has “Current Quantity” of 14 and need to adjust it to 12. In “Adjustment Quantity” enter in “-2”. This goes if you want to make the “Current Quantity” to “16” enter in “2”.

      2. Adjustment Reason: This helps other staff and yourself, know why the stock was adjusted.

  3. Click the Save changes button.
