1.2.2.2 How to edit modifier option
To edit a modifier option: do the following:
Click on Your Menu > Modifiers.
Click on Modifier Options.
Find the Modifier Option you would like to edit, on the right side of the Modifier Option, click the Edit button.
Modifier Option Name: Modifier Option Name is how you will identify the modifier from other modifiers which might have the same Short Name. For example, you might have two (2) menu items like smoothie size and coffee size. The Short Name is the same as a “display name” which will be visible for the customers to see. So both smoothie and coffee sizes might offer, regular and large. But as these might be priced differently for each menu item. You will create different Modifier Options with the Modifier Option Names being “Smoothie Regular”, “Smoothie Large”, “Coffee Regular” and “Coffee Large”. This is just to distinguish it from one another.
Short Name: Short Name will be visible to the customers and how it will be shown on the POS and the Customer App. As the example before with different sizes for smoothies and coffees. Your Modifier Option Name for Coffee Large, you would just place in the Short Name as “Large”.
Display Price: This pricing is how the customer will know the price for when they select this Modifier Option. For example, if it is free, you can just leave it blank. If it makes the menu item cheaper as they might choose to downsize their meal choice, you can write this as -15k. Or if its an upsize you might place +15k. Just to inform them there is a price increase or decrease in the total they will be paying.
Price: This is the actual price difference this Modifier Option will make towards their bill. You can make this decrease (-15000) or increase (+15000). If there is no price difference when the customer selects this Modifier Option, leave the value as “0”.
Available: This is if that Modifier Option is available to be selected, if you have stock in Modifier Stock Management for this Modifier Option, and the stock runs out, this will automatically be toggle “OFF” for customer and staff to not place orders with this Modifier Option,
Click the Save Changes button.
