How to Create Menu Hours
Menu Hours control when a specific menu is visible and available on the Customer App. Once the closing time passes, that menu is automatically hidden from customers until the next opening time. For example, a "Breakfast Menu" would be configured with the hours of your breakfast service. Menus available for your full operating period can simply match your venue's opening and closing times.
Steps:
Navigate to Venue Management → Opening Hours
Click Service Period at the top right
Click Add Menu Period
For each day this menu is available, complete the following:
Opening Time — The time this menu becomes visible to customers (e.g. 08:00 AM for a Breakfast Menu)
Close Time — The time this menu stops being visible (e.g. 11:00 AM for breakfast, or 10:00 PM for an all-day menu)
If there is a gap in service for this menu (e.g. the menu is unavailable during a mid-afternoon break), click Add to (Day) to add a second window
For days this menu should not be available, leave both fields empty or click the Trash Can Icon
Click Submit
Once created, this Menu Period must be linked to the relevant menu. This is done in Your Menu → Menu Management when creating or editing a menu, using the Menu Hours field.
