How to Create a New Floor Area

A floor area represents a distinct section of your venue, such as "Main Dining Hall", "Poolside", or "VIP Terrace". Floor areas allow staff to navigate between sections on the POS and can be configured to display different menus to customers scanning QR codes within that area.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Venue Management → Tables Management

  2. Click Add Floor Area at the top right and complete the following fields:

    • Floor Area Name — Name the section as your staff know it (e.g. "VIP Poolside", "Main Dining Hall", "Bar Area")

    • Menus — Select which menus are accessible to customers who scan a QR code from a table within this floor area. For example, a poolside area may only show the "Bar Menu", while the main dining hall shows the full "Dine-In Menu".

  3. Click Create or Create & Create Another
