1.1.1.4 How do I use the search function within a menu

To use the search function within the menu; do the following:

  1. When you are within a menu, (do this by clicking Your Menu > Menu Management then clicking on the menu name you want to search within)

  2. At the top there are several fields you can use to find certain menu items

    1. Search Textbox: You are able to find menu items either by the name of the menu item or searching word that are in the menu item description.

    2. Type: You are able to search within which tabs on the POS this menu item might be displayed in. To find out more on these terms click here under 1.1.3.1 How to create a new menu item.

      1. Regular Menu.

      2. Third Party

      3. Custom 

      4. Commission

    3. Visibility: Where the menu item is being displayed on.

      1. All: Is shown on both the Customer App and POS Dashboard

      2. POS Dashboard

      3. Customer App

    4. Status: This is the same to Available or Stock Management. You are easily able to view which items might be out of stock.

      1. Available

      2. Unavailable

    5. Pricing: You are able to view if the menu item is:

      1. All: You see all the pricing types

      2. All Inclusive: The price the POS and Customer App include the Tax & Service as per Base Price.

      3. Regular: This is menu items that have a base price but when the customer or staff goes to checkout. Tax & Service will be added after.

      4. Promo: This is to see which menu items you have currently on promotion. Helping with updating menus faster.

        1. All: All menu items with or without promotions will be displayed

        2. Promo: Only menu items with promotions will be displayed.

  3. As you click on each field, the search function will automatically filter out the menu.
