1.3.1.1 How to create a new combination promotion
To create a new combination promotion, do the following:
Click Marketing > Promotion Management.
At the top right, click on the New Promotion button.
You will have 4 different tabs at the top, you can click on them and the following will appear.
Basic Information
Promotion Type: This is a drop down selection between “Combo Promotion” and “Discount”. This information will be for the “Combo Promotion”.
Name: This is the name you will give the promotion, your customers and staff will not see this unless you don’t use a Display Name. For example, you might offer different combination specials each day of the week. So you might name Mondays as “Mondays Combination Special” and Tuesdays as “Tuesdays Combination Special”. This is just for you to differentiate one from another that might have the same Display Names.
Code Promo: This is random and mainly just for our backend system to know which promotion code belongs to which promotion. We suggest you do not change this.
Display Name: This is the title of the promotion your customers and staff will see. For example, using the same as above you might use the “Monday Combination Special” and “Tuesday Combination Special” and have the titles as “Weekday Special”.
Description: Give the customers and staff more information on what this promotion is including.
Terms & Conditions: This is where you list what restrictions this promotion has. For example, using same as above, the “Weekday Special” might have conditions as:
“- Only available on Monday
Only available between 1200 - 2200
Only 1 per customer
Drinks included are limited to iced tea or apple juice
Dine-on only” and so forth.
Banner Image: Include an image which might feature all the menu items that are included in the combination
Active: This is more if you require the promotion to be taken off the POS and Customer App. Or if you are planning the upcoming promotions and do not want customers to see it yet.
Stackable: This toggle is for when promotions are not allowed to be mixed with other promotions. (This feature is still in the testing phase).
